OLDER BABIES 

These sessions are aimed at babies who are able to sit up unaided.  This is roughly between 6 - 10 months old.  When baby is able to sit up unaided, but before they are on the move.

 

This is probably my favourite age to photograph.  They are still so squishy and showing so much personality by this age too. They will also not yet be on the move at this age, as let me tell you, once they are on the move, capturing photos of them becomes a whole new ball game! 

 

Sitting up on their own is such a huge (and under-rated) milestone - they see the world from a whole new perspective and all of a sudden your baby will seem so much bigger! Going from that tiny, sleepy newborn to a sitter always blows my mind.  It's such a short amount of time, but they change and grow so quickly.  They tend to be super smiley at this age too.  I will always capture their tiny little features too.  Those little curled toes, the chubby legs, those long eyelashes we could only dream of and that cute button nose.

Don't miss this gorgeous time for your babies photos - parents and siblings are VERY welcome (and encouraged!) to join in some of the photos too.

 

I have a wardrobe of clothes for sitters, so you are welcome to use some of these outfits - or otherwise you can bring two or three outfits of your own for baby and we will get through as many as they allow us to. Once you have booked I will give you some ideas on outfits and tips on how to get the most of your photoshoot.
